General assumptions

1. This agreement is between LinguaLance Translations and a website user.

2. LinguaLance does not take part in negotiations between clients and translations.

3. LinguaLance is not responsible for services provided by translators and translation agencies.

4. Users of lingualance.com are responsible for their username and password.

Informal Rules

1. Users should provide trustworthy personal information where required.

2. Project information should be detailed and adequate.

3. Translators should complete the projects they undertake in a timely and professional manner.

4. Users may not disclose to anyone or anywhere information about projects and jobs provided on lingualance.com, including project providers' contact information.

5. In case, the rules stated above are violated, please contact us at abuse@lingualance.com immediately.

Registration and Financial Responsibility

1. Registration at lingualance.com is free for clients. To gain access to the features allowing posting profiles and contacting clients, translators and translation agencies are required to pay an annual membership fee according to the rates stated on the LinguaLance website.

2. In order to obtain full membership, translators need to register and pay their membership fee. All payments are processed either by 2checkout.com, our payment system provider, or through our affiliate payment provider Clickbank.com.

3. Users become full members once the payment is received by LinguaLance Translations. An order confirmation from LinguaLance will be sent to the e-mail address you provided once the payment is approved. 2Checkout.com, our payment service provider, will issue an invoice once a payment is rendered. Make sure that you keep for your records. All fees are non-refundable.

4. There are no fees for clients posting translation projects; however, translators and translation agencies are required to become members before they can take full advantage of all services offered at www.lingualance.com.

Regulations

1. LinguaLance Translations reserves the right to terminate a user's membership without warning at any time on the occasions when illegal activities are observed, or a user has violated the lingualance.com rules and regulations as stipulated on this website.

2. The email and other personal information provided by users is only used to establish contact between translators and clients (outsourcers). LinguaLance Translations respects the privacy of its users and pledges to protect all provided information against misuse.

3. By registering with LinguaLance, the User is giving consent that his/her personal information provided during registration of the account will be processed and inspected by LinguaLance in a manner contingent to the services rendered. The User declares that he/she is familiar with their right to edit their own profile at any time to reflect changes in their personal data. LinguaLance is committed to protecting the confidentiality of users' data and personally identifiable information. The User declares that he/she are familiar with the present agreement and by choosing to proceed and use LinguaLance services vows to observe this agreement.

Disclaimer

The customer understands and accepts the fact that LinguaLance Translations has no control over and cannot be held liable for the content of data transferred through its database or stored on its servers by the website users. LinguaLance services are to be used at a user's individual discretion. The user therefore acknowledges and agrees that the entire risk arising out of the use of LinguaLance services remains with them, to the maximum extent permitted by law. LinguaLance Translations does not, either expressed, implied or statutory, make any warranties, claims or representations with respect to the services it provides, including, without limitation, warranties of quality, performance, non-infringement, merchantability, or fitness for use or a particular purpose. LinguaLance Translations further does not represent or warrant that its services will remain available, accessible, uninterrupted, timely, secure, accurate, complete and error-free at all times. LinguaLance does not guarantee any specific result can be obtained by using its services. No kind of advice or information, written or oral, given by a LinguaLance associate, owner or agent should be considered a binding warranty of any kind.

In case of a claim against LinguaLance Translations resulting from a violation of the law or the above Terms of Use by a customer, the customer is held financially responsible for all incurred costs and damages, including all attorney fees.

The terms of the Disclaimer section shall survive any termination of this agreement.
